Exclusive use is available for those who would like us to close the doors and enable complete privacy, meaning that you can use any area within the castle as part of your celebrations. All of Melville’s public rooms and the 33 bedrooms can be yours to enjoy in total privacy for a magical wedding or special celebration. Enjoy Melville Castle at its very best; privacy, comfort, no strangers, no intrusions, just you and your guests.

Your Dream Wedding

In Edinburgh

The castle will be exclusively yours from 13:00 on your wedding day until 11:00 the following day. There are no daytime restrictions and you can style our venue however you wish, including setup with gold Cheltenham chairs in our ceremony rooms, carpet aisle runner and use of stereo system for ceremony. You can choose to say those special I do's in our enchanting gardens or in our exquisite cermony room. A bespoke menu will be carefully designed for your special day, including a Full Scottish Breakfast in the morning, for all your guests.
